LIMA -- Huwitt Aundray, lovingly known as Dray, Durr transitioned from this life on Thursday November 27, 2025 with loved ones by his side. He was born on February 12, 1970 to mother Johnnie D. Florence and father Tommy McLellan, who preceded him in death.
Aundray was blessed with four children: Dominique Durr, Adrianna Durr, Elijah ( Burgundy) Durr and Isaiha Durr. He leaves behind five amazing grandchildren: Amiyah Durr, Alexis Durr, Amari Cook, Amir Cook, and Khylil Durr. He also leaves to cherish his memory three brothers: Harry (Jennifer) Florence, Carlton (Venitha) McLellan, and Tommy McLellan Jr.; three sisters: La Crissa Marshall Robinson, Shasta (Torey) Thomas, and Lashawnda Russell; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and comrades.
Aundray was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Ray and Gladys Banks, and nephew Shamar Chambers.
Aundray attended Lima Sr. High school where he was affluent in art and loved to play on the baseball team. He was well known throughout his years as the fun, loving person that kept things in motion. He was not a stranger to a soul and always willing to help out where he could.
Besides his family, art was definitely his life's love. He traveled the United States in various art forums and curated at the Topeka Art Gallery.
Aundray also loved to cook and be with family on holidays having cooking contest between younger brother Harry, and basketball tournaments in the summer. He was a true fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, causing fun rivalry with uncle Johnny Banks. He also loved to fish and relax in nature.
Visitation for Aundray will be held on Saturday, Dec 13, 2025 at Lima Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 3000 Harding HWY, Lima, Ohio 45804, from 9:00AM, until the time of his funeral service at 10:00AM, Repass will be held at Celebration Church 1601 Rebecca Dr. Lima, Ohio 45805.
Hanneman-Siferd Funeral, 506 North Cable Road, Lima, Ohio, 45805, has been graciously entrusted with Aundray's care.
