It's been too long since I last saw you, buddy. Every time I am in or drive by Eagle River AK, you always seem to be the first person or thought that comes to mind. Maybe it's because you were the first person I ever met that lived in Eagle River or it could be all the Halloween parties we had at the duck pond aka, your home, back in the day. It's been about a decade since I saw you last, I think, but I can still hear us greet each other the way we always did....me yelling, "BABY FACE,whats up yo" and you responding with, "hey there Jakey Poo". We definitely had some good times together. I'll miss you, man. Love you, bro

I remember as a young teen, I always felt left out when all my sisters and cousins and Ian would go hang out and leave me behind because I was too young. One time he stayed behind for a minute to say "I know it sucks being left out, I have siblings too and sometimes we leave out the youngsters to protect you guys from our shenanigans ;). It will get better, just get older!" Then he smiled and walked away before I realized, wait, if I get older, they all will still be older, and I´ll be younger?! Dangit! And he laughed at that and that´s when I saw his silly side and his protective side. You are already very missed Ian, I hope paradise is everything you´ve ever wanted, you deserve it kid.
