Mr. Iber "Gene" Gable

Iber "Gene" Gable was born in Anderson SC on 06/17/1939. He passed away 11/11/2024 peacefully in hospice care. He is proceeded in death by his parents Orin Iber Gable and Martha Culbertson Gable and three brothers Frederick, Deadrick, and Clark "Corky" Gable. He lost his love Hester Smith Gable 5 years ago. He is survived by his children daughter Tammie Richards, sons Timothy Gable (Dana), Kevin Gable, (Carolyn), and Lawrence "Gene" Gable (Dawn). He has 13 grandchildren Michael (Kristina), Justin (Nikki), Jarrod (Savanna), Heather (Christina), Holden (Cara), Austin, Ashton and Tristan. 7 great grandchildren Hannah, Braxton, Brayson, Brooke, Olivia, Bravely and Soli. He was a man of God and a true servant of our Lord. He is leaving behind a true legacy for all that knew him. He never met a stranger who he couldn't talk with and if they didn't know Jesus he made sure that they did before he left the room. He served as a minister to congregations and jails in central Fl. A lifelong Carpenter of his own company, an avid fisherman which he loved the waters and the peace it gave him. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him. We love you Daddy, your safe in the arms of Christ and with your true love.
