Icyle Swafford Shadden, 82, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at a local hospital.
She was of Baptist faith, and a retired dietician from Health South.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Shadden; her parents, Dave and Estelle Swafford; her brother, Haskell Allison, and her sister, Lucille Posey.
She is survived by her three children, Kenneth Lebron Shadden Sr. (Dana) of Ooltewah, Randy Shadden of Soddy Daisy, and Tammy Shadden of Chattanooga; two sisters, Jewell Frazier and Sue McKinney of Georgetown; nine grandchildren, Kenny (Laura) Shadden of Chattanooga, Kristy (Dave) Farster of Cleveland, Randy (Leah) Shadden of Ooltewah, Chad Shadden of Chattanooga, Michael (Ti'Shai) Shadden of Chattanooga, Sean (Ashley) Schafer of Chattanooga, Kasey Shadden, Keria Shadden, and Nathan Patterson; twenty two great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
