Ida Frances Broh, age 77, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2025. She was born on October 9, 1947, in Danbury, CT.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Rose Peloso and husband, Erich. She leaves behind her daughter Nicole Forziati (Paul) & her granddaughter, Emily Rose.

Ida attended Ladycliff College in Highland Falls, New York, graduating in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in English. Ida also completed graduate courses at Long Island University & Adelphia University. She was employed as a teacher with the Sachem Central School District. In 1992, Ida was recognized by Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. After retiring from teaching, Ida and her husband moved to Florida, first living in Stuart, then in Ocala. Ida continued her teaching skills by instructing students in English as a Second Language (ESL).

Ida was a longtime member of Christ the King Anglican Church. She participated in many church ministries. On Sundays, Ida served as a subdeacon at the 8:00 am service. Through the years she served as a Stephen Minister, was a member of the Daughters of the Holy Cross and recently joined the church Knitters & Stitchers. Ida was a dedicated volunteer at The Circle 24/7, Inc. -a non-profit that provides activities to improve the body, mind and spirit of young ladies with special needs. She also did volunteer tutoring for various group and individuals throughout the years. Ida had a servant’s heart and throughout her life she exhibited kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty and love of her family and friends.

We are certain that when Ida stepped into heaven, God greeted her by saying “Well done my good and faithful servant”!

A Memorial Service is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ the King Anglican Church, located at 4440 SE 3rd Ave, Ocala, Florida. The Rev. Matthew MacKenzie will be officiating. A reception will be held at the church following the service. Donations may be given in memory of Ida Broh to The Circle 24/7, Inc. P.O.
