Ida Swalnick Glasky

Ida (Mandell) Swalnick Glasky passed away peacefully on January, 30th at the age of 96 years old. Ida was born in Pittsburgh PA and moved to Somerville and then Roxbury. She and her late husband Bernard Swalnick lived in Dorchester before moving to Quincy, MA. After retirement she lived in Delray Beach, FL for 28 years until she came back to Milton MA 8 years ago to live at Fuller Village.
She was the wife of the late Bernard Swalnick and the late Harry Glasky. She is survived by her children Gerald Swalnick of NC and his spouse Patty, David Swalnick of NC, and Elaine Swalnick of Quincy MA. She is survived by her grandchildren, Natalia Swalnick and Josh Gross of CA, Sara and Colby Greco of Jamaica Plain, Joshua and Leila Berry of Walpole and Olivia and Hannah Berry of Natick MA. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Carter and Quinn Swalnick of CA and Isaiah and Daliah Berry of Walpole. She was also the mother-in-law of the late Celeste Principe.
Funeral services will be private. The family will not be observing a traditional Shiva period. Donations in Ida's memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
