Aunt Ida has always been my favorite aunt. She was so very kind to me as I grew up. I looked forward to going to her house with my parents and I loved when she stopped in to see us. She had a wonderful laugh. I can still hear the sound of her infectious laugh and visualize her perfectly. Her sense of humor was great.
She was also my oldest son's Godmother.
She taught me a special version of the Hail Mary that I will never forget. Aunt Ida will always remain inspirational to me. I feel very fortunate to have been able to visit with her in Bismarck the summer of 2014. Even though I didn't see her as often as I wish I could have. Aunt Ida's memory will forever be in my heart.
Sincerely,
Grace (Hecker) Hatfield
