Idell Gilliam
May 29, 1943 – October 3, 2024
Idell was born May 29, 1943 in Kaufman, TX to Will and Alma Jennings. She was kind-hearted, patient, wise and a little old fashioned. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her grandkids on the farm. She provided guidance and nurtured those around her with unconditional love. She was never wealthy when it came to material things but she did possess a treasure of wealth in the love she had and the love she gave others. She took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She would make you laugh with her little quirks and warm your heart with sweet hugs. She was married to Bobby Dean Gilliam. Their love for each other stood the test of time for 64 years.
She is survived in death by her children : Bobby Dell Gilliam, Charles Gilliam, Elisa Sills, and Jacky Gilliam. She has numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Idell was proceeded in death by her parents Will and Alma Jennings. Her husband Bobby Dean Gilliam, her son Tommie Glen Gilliam and siblings: Jasper Jennings, Grady Alton, Fern Irene, May Reed, Alma Lee Gilliam, Vernon Hobby Jennings and Elizabeth Ditto.
Idell will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
