Idella Nadine Rogers

Idella "Nadine" Rogers, 84, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. She was born October 8, 1941 in St. Joseph, daughter of Olive and Sam Milbourn. Nadine was a 1959 graduate of Savannah High School. On May 1, 1963, she married George Rogers. She devoted many years to being a Homemaker, and later worked as an In Home Caretaker with InterServ, retiring after 25 years. She enjoyed working puzzles and playing bingo, and most of all spending time with her family. Nadine was a longtime member of The Evangelistic Temple in St. Joseph, and more recently attended Sheffield Family Life Center in Kansas City. She was preceded in death by husband, George Rogers, her parents, sons, Samuel and George Rogers Jr., brothers, Sam Milbourn Jr, Clyde Milbourn, Virgil Milbourn, and Clifford Milbourn, and sisters, Erma Hazel Hubbard, Darlene Gardner, Irene Milbourn, and Pearl Lakin. Survivors include: her son, Paul Rogers of Independence, MO, grandchildren, Sandra (Zackery) Fairbanks of Independence, MO, Samantha (Kristen) Rogers of St. Joseph, and Jeffrey (Katie) Scotton, of Maysville, MO, and 2 great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr. and Adelyn Scotton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, The Interment will follow services at King Hill Cemetery.
