Idowu Monica Ogbe was born on February 10th, 1966 in Kano Nigeria to the late Mr. and Mrs. Igbinovia who were originally from Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. She grew up with many siblings and friends in Nigeria, where she would attend primary and secondary school until her Graduation.
Later in the future she travelled to Italy to begin a life abroad. But she left Italy for the United States as she was told by a prophet that she would meet her husband in a church in a country far distance from Europe.
Thank God, the prophesy came to pass, because one faithful day, while in the US, she met her beloved husband Jacob Ogbe in the church, and the rest was history.
Idowu dedicated many years of her life to serving students in the Newark Public Schools before continuing her calling of care as a Nursing Assistant and later as a Hospital Attendant at the Essex County Hospital Center, Cedar Grove, NJ. Her life's work reflected her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to helping others. She was a constant source of love and support for her family, friends, and community. She will be most fondly remembered for her selflessness, her charitable heart, and the beautiful smile that never seemed to fade.
