Ila Mae Watts Howard age 87 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at her home. She was born July 22, 1937 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Coda and Carrie Wicker Watts.
Survived by two sons, Marcus Gareth "Garry" (Pam) Howard, and Marcus Bareth "Barry" (Shella) Howard both of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Ruby Watts, Odis Watts, both of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Carl Watts of Hazard, Kentucky, two sisters, Mable Osborne, Locreasia "Nanny" Burke both of Ohio, five grandchildren, April (Ricky) Hylton, Wesley (Sarah) Howard, Daffiny (Tommy) Trimble, Dakota (Evan) Green, Trucker (Makinlee) Howard, ten great grandchildren, Braden Jackson, Maddex Hansen, Emma Howard, Hayden Arnett, Palmer Trimble, Jaxon Howard, Marcus Bo Howard, Kingston Green, Swayzee Green, Awbrey Howard, a special friend and caregiver, Kathy Salyers.
In addition to her parents, Ila Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Howard, one daughter, Pamela Lynn Howard, three brothers, Oakie Watts, Ray Watts, Aster Watts, two sisters, Betty George, and Virginia Watts.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Russell Dingus and Jim Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Alton Francis Cemetery at Bloomington, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Friday, August 16, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
