Ilda Maria Rodrigues

Ilda Rodrigues 73, passed away on November 12 th 2022. Ilda was born in Pico, Azores the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Dutra) Correia. She was the beloved wife of Antonio Rodrigues the two married in November 1967 and raised their family in Somerville where they lived for almost 40 years before moving to Stoneham. The loving mother of Linda Bell and Betsey Estrada, and the grandmother of Seamus, Fiona, Maria, Jake and Emily. Ilda worked at Sweetheart Plastics for many years. She was known for being friendly and welcoming and always had a kind word with a smile for everyone. During her free time Ilda enjoyed attending mass and singing in the church choir at St. Anthony's Church in Cambridge and took pride in cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Ilda is survived by her husband Antonio Rodrigues, her daughters Linda Bell of Burlington and Betsey Estrada of Wilmington, her grandchildren Seamus, Fiona, Maria, Jake and Emily as well as her sister Fatima Nunes and many other family members and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18th, from 4 – 8PM at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, November 19th at 9 AM at St. Anthony's Church 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave, Cambridge, MA 02141 followed by an interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
