Ilse Paola Estrada

Ilse Paola Estrada, born on February 13, 1991, in Nogales Arizona, left this world peacefully on March 8, 2025, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave to others throughout her life. She was a bright light, known for her beautiful smile and an unwavering spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege to know her.

A loving daughter, Ilse was cherished by her mother, Lourdes Grant, and father, Marco Antonio Estrada Jr. She grew up surrounded by the warmth and wisdom of her grandparents, Rafaela and Anastacio Elias, and Antonio and Blanca Estrada. Her aunts, Olivia and Leticia Elias, and her uncles, Humberto Astorga and Todd Nicholas, kept her spirits high with their laughter and support. The joy of her life was found in the companionship of her beloved pets, Xeno, her dog, and Luna, her cat, who were as much her family as any human could be.

Ilse was fiercely committed to her education, passionately pursuing a business degree at ASU. Her journey was not without its challenges, yet through every obstacle, she remained steadfast in her faith, constantly trusting that God had a plan for her. Her resilience was a source of inspiration and pride for all who knew her.

She was a kind and empathetic soul, with a heart big enough to share with everyone. Ilse knew how to find joy in the little things; whether she was taking Xeno for walks at the park, enjoying a slice of cheesecake, or savoring her favorite meals—Italian food, strawberries and cream, or a perfectly cooked steak—each moment was a reminder of the beauty of life. Her love for animals showed her nurturing side, and her friendships were enriched by her caring nature.

Ilse's love will be celebrated and remembered in a visitation on March 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, followed by a Mass at San Felipe de Jesus Parish at 2:00 PM. The gathering will offer family and friends the opportunity to share cherished memories and reflect upon the profound impact she had on their lives.

Though Ilse may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved her. Her capacity for love, compassion, and empathy serves as a reminder to all of us to carry forth her legacy of kindness in this world. Rest in peace, dear Ilse, you are loved and missed beyond words.
