Mrs. Imogene L. Arnold, 92 of Avon, Indiana, peacefully passed away on November 21, 2025.
Imogene was born on November 28, 1932, in Lamar, Spencer County, Indiana, to Walter and Margaret Lottles. She graduated from Tell City High School and then married Billy V. Arnold of Newtonville, Spencer County, Indiana on June 16, 1950. They then moved to Brownsburg in 1951.
Billy and Imogene became Christians and lifelong members of The Church of Christ on October 29, 1963. Imogene loved her family, giving to others, travel, and gardening. Her home was filled with children, hers and foster children, throughout the years.
In addition to her husband, parents, and four siblings, Imogene is preceded in death by her son, Kyle, and three grandchildren, Amy, Mindy, and Andrew.
She is survived by her four children, Janene (husband Dennis) Hornberger of Fairland, Glendon (wife Julie) Arnold of Pittsboro, Reana Saathoff of Indianapolis, and Trevor (wife Heidi) Arnold of Carmel; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family will gather at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home in Pittsboro, Indiana, for visitation on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 3pm to 4pm, with the celebration of Imogene's life beginning at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life's Journey Hospice of Avon (10241 East County Road 100 North, Indianapolis, IN 46234).
