Ines Paz Sala

SALA - Ines Paz Sala, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010. Ines Paz was born to Justiniano Paz and Paulina Nyfeler in Rosario Argentina, the youngest of seven beautiful sisters. She met and married the one love of her life, Jose' Maria Sala, a young physician, in Rosario in March, 1948. To that union were born three children. The young family moved from Argentina to Columbia, Missouri in 1952. Ines took up the task of making a home for the family, something for which she had enormous talent, designing and making clothing, decorating the home and garden, cooking gourmet foods, and entertaining in grand style. Ines was an intelligent, elegant and multi-talented woman who won the respect, love and friendship of a multitude of people from all over the world from Argentina to Albuquerque. Ines was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and five of her sisters. She is survived and mourned by her son, Jose L. Sala and his wife, Linda, their sons, Justin and Ryan Sala, all of Springfield, Missouri; her daughter, Cristi Sala, of the home in Albuquerque and Cristi's son, and Ines' much loved grandson, Daniel J. Sabo of Corrales, NM; and her daughter, Nina Sala-Gault and her husband, Bryan Gault of Fair Grove, MO. The family wishes to recognize the devotion of the caregivers in Ines Sala's last days, with special thanks to Lisa, Bricia and Imelda. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 8, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE.
