Mrs. Inez Conley, 78 of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
Inez was born on June 5, 1947, in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late Henry Clinton Riner and the late Claudia Averett Riner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Ann Diaz; son, Bobby Len Conley Sr.; sisters, Barbara Gilbert, Mary Tant, Hazel Rickerson, brother, James Riner; and grandson, Alan Dotson.
Inez Conley was a wife, mama, and granny who loved her family deeply and without question. Her loud, contagious laugh was one of a kind and could be heard long before she ever walked into a room. It was a sound her family will never forget.
She found joy in the simple things. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and making things by hand for the people she loved. Inez showed her care through what she created and how she gave of herself. She loved the Lord and leaned on her faith throughout her life.
Inez spent most of her years in Swainsboro, Georgia, before later moving to Fayetteville. She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and will carry her memory with them always. She will be missed more than words can say.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, John Conley; daughter, Barbara Jean Conley; grandchildren, Felicia Wilcox (Zach), Mitchell Conley (Jessica), Kelvin Diaz (Tansley), Terry Cox (Mikayla), Jerry Cox, Bobby Conley Jr., Julia Lane (Daniel), Sarah Coleman, Chante’ Frazier (Sonny), Rusty Bennett (Georgia), Dusty Bennett (Reanna), Michael Dotson; 33 great-grandchildren; siblings, Laura Mae Mason, Hershel Riner, Robert Riner; step-daughters, Loretta Bennett (Butch), Latrelle Sturgill (Jim).
