In Loving Memory of

Inez Cadena Ramirez

Our beloved loved one Inez Cadena Ramirez peacefully passed through the gates of Heaven on January 18, 2026, surrounded by love and leaving behind a legacy of strength, family and unwavering determination.

She was born on April 20, 1932, in Metcalf, Arizona, to parents Jose and Josepha Cadena. Just months after birth, she moved to Chihuahua, Mexico where she grew up. At the age of nine, she was taken to Sacramento, California, by her aunt, where she lived until she was eighteen. She later returned to Juarez, where her life would soon change forever. She met and fell in love with Gilberto Ramirez Sr., the love of her life. Together they built a life rooted in love, perseverance, and family.

She and Gilberto Sr. were blessed with four children and later in life 3 beautiful daughter-in-law's. Inez is preceded in death by her husband Gilberto Ramirez Sr. and son Jose Lorenzo (Anna) Ramirez. She is survived by Jose Fernando (Marie) Ramirez, Gilberto (Maria De Jesus) Ramirez Jr, and Arcelia Ramirez. She leaves behind seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each one a testament to the life and love she poured into her family.

Before the birth of their first son, they moved to El Paso, Texas where she lived in the Segundo Barrio, laying the foundation for their growing family. In 1970, they moved to the DeVargas area, a home that became the heart of the family. A place where all the grandchildren and even some great grandchildren were raised, welcomed, and deeply loved.

She was a hardworking and dedicated women. She worked as a housekeeper in the Mesa Hills area, later working in factory warehouse positions at Farah and Ali, and ultimately retiring from Wrangler. Her strong work ethic and determination were evident throughout her life.

She will be remembered for her strong-minded and determined spirit, her outspoken honesty, and her sharp sense of humor. A huge critic with a heart full of love, she believed in tough love and never hesitated to speak her mind. Those who knew her best knew how deeply loveable she truly was.

In her quieter moments, she found peace and joy tending to her rose garden and filling her home with plants, nurturing life wherever she went.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, a strong matriarch, and a guiding force for generations. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will live on in the hearts and lives of all who were blessed to know her.

Pallbearers: Jose Fernando Ramirez (son), Gilberto Ramirez Jr. (son), Gilberto Ramirez III (grandson), Jareth Michael Ramirez (grandson), Jason Ramirez (grandson), Mario Muro (grandson-in-law), Ricardo Valdez (grandson-in-law)
