In Loving Memory of Ingrid Ng
Ingrid Ng, a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and cousin, entered into Heaven on December 6, 2025, at the age of 66, in her home in Cornelius, NC. Ingrid fought bravely to remain with those she loved. Though her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts, her legacy of grace, kindness, and gentleness will forever live on in those she touched.
Born on July 5, 1959, in Hong Kong to the late Benson Ng and Jane Wong, Ingrid grew up with two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her husband, Albert Wong; her sisters, Doris (husband, George Tsang) and Helen (husband, David Ng); her brother, Albert Ng; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Rachel Tsang, Ryan Tsang, Lauren Ng, and Daniel Ng.
Ingrid grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she earned a degree in business and became a Certified Public Accountant. She worked for Price Waterhouse and the Glidden Company before she and Albert moved to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1996. There, she continued her education and received an MBA. Ingrid’s career included roles at ICI Paints, Moen Inc., American Greetings and Electrolux.
With a servant’s heart, Ingrid used her professional skills to bless others. When she and Albert moved to the Lake Norman area in 2013, she invested her time and expertise with numerous non-profit organizations. She gave generously of herself—always encouraging others to join her in serving. A significant portion of her time was devoted to the ministries of Grace Covenant Church, where she especially loved supporting missions, women’s ministry, and ministry to senior saints.
Ingrid’s love for people was evident in the way she and Albert regularly opened their home to friends and church members for food, fellowship, games, and their cherished Life Group. Her love of travel took her across the world, with a trip to Israel holding a particularly special place in her heart.
Above all, Ingrid loved her family, people, and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A faithful follower of Christ, her Bible was one of her most treasured possessions. She inspired others to study God’s Word and live to bring Him glory.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC.
