Ira Fowler Obituary
In loving memory of Ira Milton Fowler Jr, who left us on May 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy as rich as his humor. Born on April 22, 1967, Ira's journey was of laughter, love, and unwavering dedication and survived by his beloved mother, Thomasena Fowler, his sister LaShun Fowler, his children Quentin Fowler, Tamera Fowler, Tierra Fowler, his stepdaughters Taquari Brown and Theasha Henderson, his son-in-law Allen Henderson, and a constellation of grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Rayven Fowler, Madison Fowler, RaMilla Ross, Railyn Fowler-Gaskins, Rafael Fowler-Gaskins, Sky Fowler, Amari Pendarvis, Tyger Henderson, and Paige Henderson; and his devoted companion Gina Wilson.
Milton was a proud graduate of Southside High School, class of '85. His wit and charm were unmatched, much like his tenure of over 20 years at Lockheed Martin, where he managed to keep things flying smoothly even when his health declined.
He was also a cherished member of the Freemasons, joining a brotherhood that meant much to him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, at 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611. Ira's kindness, dedication, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
