Diana, Jay and Mrs. Vance - you are in our hearts and prayers. I love the picture of Mr. Vance, it makes me smile. I will always feel like part of your family and am blessed to have spent so many years in your home. I hope you can find comfort in the many lives he touched!

I will always remember Mr. Vance as a coach/father with a strong/quiet presence and a twinkle in his eye. My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Vance, Jay and Diana.

Tom influenced many young men as a baseball coach at Tuckahoe Little League. The two summers he coached me as a young boy at 11 and 12 years of age will were formative in the values of hard work and competition, as well as having a quiet confidence. God Bless Diana, Jay and Olga and their families.

I remember the Vance's so well - 'lived on Bath St., 3 houses from my grandparents, the Brown's. As a child, I roller skated up and down the street in front of their house, up and down the driveways, as well. The 'senior' Mr. Vance has the nicest garden across the alley, alongside the Spatig family - oh, the memories. I can see the Vance's right now. I did not know Mike Clifford's Mom was in Clifton Forge now. Remembering when they came to visit, I believe from Baltimore. So sorry for your loss. I was Nancy Nelson, sister of Craig and we lived right around the corner on 3rd street. Back in the day, that was the nicest neighborhood!!!
