Irene Berg Obituary

Irene Harriet (Lofgren) Berg was born May 9, 1930 in Stillwater and died on March 28, 2025 at the age of 94.

She is survived by her son John (Jenifer); granddaughters Jessica Berg (Branden) and Jordan Benson (Joseph); great grandchildren Reef Sampson, Johanna Benson, Jewel Benson, Bishop Noetzel and Irion Noetzel; sister Elaine Frederickson; and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles; father and mother Harry and Violet Lofgren; and brothers-in-law Charles Frederickson and Douglas Berg (Aggie).

Irene enjoyed an active life with Chuck. They traveled extensively, sharing their joy of golfing, skiing, camping and ballroom dancing. Music was a large part of her life, singing in her school and Trinity Lutheran Church choirs.

Irene had a 38-year career as the Stillwater Clinic administrator, which she loved.

The love of her life was her husband. They shared a rich life with their family and friends. Life was good!
