Irene DeWitt Obituary
Irene E. DeWitt, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, May 9, at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Orwigsburg.
Born March 29, 1943, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Irene (McGlone) and Russell Noecker.
Irene was a 1961 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
She was employed as an office manager at ACME Markets and Way-Mart Food Store, Pottsville.
Irene was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.
She is survived by two daughters, Rene DeWitt and Denise, wife of Scott Book; a son-in-law, Edward Bartashus; and grandchildren, Derek Bartashus and Kyleigh Book. She is also survived by a brother, R. Lewis Noecker.
Services are private at the convenience of family. Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements with cremation provided by Riverfront Cremation Services LLC, both of Schuylkill Haven.
