Irene Fowler Moore, born August 3, 1950, passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 74.
She was the daughter of the late Vester Lee Fowler and Mattie Elizabeth Smith Fowler. She lived in Madison County for 38 years. Irene was a caring and giving person. She always had a place in her home for anyone who needed a place to stay. Irene also took care of her late husband, mother, aunt and brother. She was a wife to the late Darrell Eulis Moore, Sr. for 47 years. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Fowler, J.T. Fowler and William Fowler "Frog".
Irene is survived by her siblings, Corene Herring, Junior Fowler, MaryAnn Bentley, Diane McElroy; children, Darrell Eulis Moore, Jr. (Missy Jacobs), Wayne Wesley Moore (Kristee Watkins) and Sandy Marie Moore Wrinkle (David Wrinkle); grandchildren, Ashton Moore, Wesley Moore, Rachel Moore, Logan Moore (Billie Moore), Autumn Moore, Brittany Moore, Christopher Moore, Drayton Wilkes and Kaylee Fields; great-grandchildren, Brantly Moore, Weston Moore, Keason Hewell, Skiler Dowdy, Esmae Moore and Stetson Moore.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow in the Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
