IRENE JUDITH "JUDY" RASMUSSEN Irene Judith "Judy" Rasmussen, 88, of International Falls, Minnesota passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, surrounded by family at Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls. Judy was born in International Falls on November 19, 1937, to parents Charles and Winifred (Lund) Hanson. She was united in marriage to Martin "Bud" Rasmussen on August 24, 1957, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls. Judy enjoyed gardening, spending time at the shack. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and St. Thomas Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Winifred Hanson; husband, Martin "Bud" Rasmussen; son, Timothy Rasmussen; sisters, Sally Laurent, Izzy Wagner; and granddaughter, Ayrica Harris. Judy is survived by her son, Marty (Gina) Rasmussen; daughters, Shelley (Scott) Peterson, Debbie (Rocky) Kucera, Pam (Al) Covel, Penny (Dan) Harris; grandchildren, Matthew, Charlie, and Tyler, Logan (Layla), Katie, Brittany (Tyler), and Molly (Maverick), McKenna (Jackson), Morgan (Shane), Ayden, and William (Toni); and twelve great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to mass.
