Irene "Renee" Renwald (née Reppa), 87, of Munster, passed away December 31, 2025. Born June 6, 1938, in East Chicago, IN, Irene grew up in Calumet City, Ill., and graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School, class of 1956.
Irene worked for over 30 years as a travel agent with Key Club Travel and Volare Travel. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Church in Munster.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; children Thomas (Lydia), Edward (Caitlin), and Marisa (Andy); grandchildren Camille, Fayette, Thomas, Lucy, Mary Grace, Patrick, Violet, Ruby, and Rosemary; and siblings, Noelle Gidley and Jim Reppa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Frank Reppa; and siblings, Frank Reppa, Vern Reppa, Peggy Fritz, and Carole Rice.
Visitation Monday, January 5, 2026, 3 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, and Tuesday, January 6, 2026, 9:30 to10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 6, 2026, 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church.
