A great Friend and a great person to use as a sounding board. She was always kind and loving and always told you the truth. I miss you every day.

I was so sad to hear the news about Irene. Although we were only in touch via social media in recent history, I have many great memories of time spent with her from college and our time in Europe. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this terrible time.

Dear Mary and Ed,
My heart aches for you. I will always treasure the “Irene” stories about her growing up and testing you both. What a brilliant and delightful child and lady.
