Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Years ago she was employed at the former D and D Shirt Co., Northampton, and the former Cigar Manufacturing Co., Allentown. A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northampton, she enjoyed volunteering on the church Altar Guild. Irene was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Croix Chapter. She enjoyed crosswords, reading, arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and the occasional bus trip.
Survivors: husband. daughters, Bonnie wife of Jeffrey Fink of Whitehall, and Peggy Geiger of Northampton,. son, Warren and wife Linda of Bethlehem. 3 grandchildren, Jennie, Lauren, and Alexis. several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Mazie Dieter, and Betty Worman, brothers, Raymond, Paul, Elwood, Harold, Edward, and Clarence.
Services: 11:00AM Wednesday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 10-11:00AM Wednesday in funeral home. Interments, Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Allentown. Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
