Irene Annette (Avinger) Seadale
Mt. Pleasant - Irene A. Seadale (Avinger), age 82, passed away on March 10, 2026. She was born March 28, 1943 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She grew up in Vance, SC and was a graduate of Holly Hill High School. She also attended The College of Charleston (BS) and the Citadel (M.Ed.). She became a licensed social worker and later a family counselor.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ira D. Avinger and Mona (Newton) Avinger and her husband Vincent Seadale.
She is survived by her sons Carl Dean Mullinax Jr. (Mary Anna) and Brian David Mullinax (Meredith Gibson), her grandchildren Rachel Baio (Craig), Joshua Mullinax (Bethany Carron), and Delmy Mullinax her great-grandchild Harvey Michael Mullinax, her sister Linda (Avinger) West, her brother Dee Avinger (Betty).
She loved to sew, clog, square dance and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a wonderful artist and painter. She will be remembered for the life she lived and the love she had for her family.
A private celebration of life will be held graveside.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her love lives on in the family she cherished.
