IRENE STRATTON Obituary
She was born in Smithfield Twp., OH on July 5, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret May (Powell) Zappone.
She was a retired secretary at Consolidated Coal Cadiz, Ohio. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Chester Stratton a son, Harry (Butch) Stratton, brother, Clifford Zappone and a sister, Betty (Thomas) Oblak.
She is survived by a son, Terry E. (Sherry) Stratton; grandson, Chad (Casey) Stratton; great grandson, Mason and his companion (Jessica Waggle) Suto, all of Martins Ferry, OH.
Celebration of Life Service at First Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville, OH. at a time to be announced with Rev. Homer Hardin officiating.
Interment at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church 110 So. Marietta Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
