Growing up, I loved going to my godmother Teta´s house where we were all served delicious Slovak food around the family table. My Teta shared Fannie May chocolate rabbits chopped into smaller pieces to share, as well as the first hand made Dove bars! Teta always had twinkling eyes, and shared her love with me, my husband my children. We will always love you Teta , love Paula Irene and family

Dear family, accept our deepest condolences for the loss of "teta Irenka" as we Slovaks called her. Irenka together with her husband Joe (Jozko báci as we called him) were important and faithful members of the Slovak mission team helping revive Christianity in their home country of Slovakia. Traveling to Chicago we as Slovaks always knew that we would never be in a complete strange country because we would always meet Irenka and Joe and immediately feel like home. Teta Irenka, rest in peace.
