Irene Veith, 97, of Brick passed away peacefully at Brandywine Reflections @ Brick on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, with her family by her side. Irene was born and raised on Staten Island, NY, and was a graduate of Port Richmond High School. She moved to Brick, NJ in 1993. Irene loved to cook, sew, collect collectibles, and most of all attend Andrea Bocelli concerts.
Irene was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Martha LaBette, her daughter Marianne A. Ritt, her three sisters Helen Young, Martha LaBette, Ruth LaBette. She is survived by her loving daughters, Irene Piede and her husband Dr. Robert Piede of Atlanta, GA, and Valerie Veith, of Brick, NJ. Irene was the cherished grandmother to Dr. John Piede and his wife Dr. Meredith Welch, and Tony Piede and his wife Amanda, as well as great grandmother to Noah, Owen, Ansley, and Ethan.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 2-5 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736 with a funeral service at 4:30 pm. Interment will be private at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
