Iris Lyn Bradisse

STOW - Iris Lyn Bradisse, 72, of Stow, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born on July 28, 1949, to Theodore J. Conklin, Sr. and Helen B. Conklin of Springfield, New Jersey, who both predeceased her.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Bradisse; daughter, Julie Bradisse of Tallmadge; son, Michael (Jill) Bradisse; grandsons, Brennan Bradisse and Declan Bradisse all of Stow, and brother, Theodore L. Conklin of New Jersey. She is also survived by in-laws, Andrea (William) Wyrwa, Jeffrey Bradisse, Gregory (Julie) Bradisse, and Barbara Kofler, all of Wisconsin. Also, Deborah Conklin of New Jersey. There are many nieces, nephews, and cousins, from both sides of the family, and close friends, distributed through Ohio, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, California, and Arizona, too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by siblings, Susan Conklin, Theodore J. Conklin, Jr., Joan Konight, Robert Conklin, and Arlene Cocuzzo, all of New Jersey and Florida.
Iris and her husband John both graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1971 and 1972 respectively, then moved to Akron, as John was employed at Goodyear and Iris was employed in insurance adjusting and claims litigation, by Hartford Insurance, Kemper Insurance, and Revco Pharmacy over the course of her career. Their children were both raised and educated in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District.
There will be no formal funeral service or calling hours, as the family will hold a private gathering in Iris' memory at a later date.
