CARATTINI, Ms. Iris N. "Wella" - age 71, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, September 29, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Deacon Michael Figueroa, officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 10:30AM Friday at the funeral home. Ms. Carattini will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed between the hours of 8:00AM until the time of service Friday.
Ms. Carattini leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Zacaria (Silky Morales) Torres, Tommy Torres, Anna Torres, Iris Torres, Daisy Valdes and Roger (Jenepher Rodriguez-Torres) Valdes; grandchildren, Zacaria Torres, Jr., Leslie Torres, Nydia, CJ, Whitney and Marquez Godineaux, Jessica and Tommy Torres, Jr., Daniel Hernandez, Lisa' Anna Rios, Hiram, Ernie and Kirby Morales, Yarnies Valdes, Ricky Santiago, Giovanni Rivera, Anna Lisa Valdes and Ex' Zavior Page, Orlando Rodriguez, Yannelis and Jeliana Valdes-Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Dominick, Dakota and Jaydalyn Sanchez, Javian Estrada, Betty Sanchez, Eduardo Sanchez, Isaiah Torres, Cayden Newland, Ernie Morales, Jr., Daniel Juan Hernandez-Vega, II, Arycelis Marie Hernandez-Vega II, Joshua Hernandez-Vega, Reynaldo Hernandez-Vega, Nitzarys Torres and Zahiara Torres; siblings, Ruben Ocasio, Gori Morales, Olga Morales and Marta Ocasio; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Carattini was preceded in death by her grandson, Romeo Junior Page; mother, Anna Ocasio; stepfather, Julian Ocasio.
