As we remember Iris we think of her love for books and helping our mom make cookies at Christmas. We also remember the bottles and rocks she painted with beautiful scenes. We will miss her deviled eggs and apple pie contribution each year at Thanksgiving. You could always count on Iris!! But getting reacquainted with her grown kids in these last few weeks of her life as we gathered to say goodbye, I realized that her greatest legacy is the wonderful children she not only produced but shaped and molded into some of the best people I know.
