Iris (Mason) Kne
Iris (Mason) Kne, 88, of Edina, formerly Chisholm, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025, in her home.
Iris was born on October 16, 1936, to Hildred and Adelbert Mason in Little Fork, Minn. She moved to Chisholm as a young adult, where she met and married Bill Kne. They raised their family here in Chisholm and enjoyed many years together. Iris was an avid reader and shopper and a great friend. She left Chisholm in 2016 to be closer to her children, when she needed a little more family support. Iris had many good years there shopping, dining and playing her favorite game, Farkle.
Iris is survived by her children, Kevin Kne, Pamela Joffe, Dianne Kne, Colleen (Bruce) Mueller and Carolyn Kne; grandchildren Erin (Valerie) Morningstar, Aidan Kne, Devin Kne, Ryan (Katie) Corder, Dustin (Mandy Miller) Corder, Gillian Mueller, Ben Mueller, Andrew (Nicole Gray) MacAskill, and Kevin MacAskill, great grandchildren, Colin, Trevor, Liam and Molly, two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, son-in-law Robert Joffe, four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Rupp Funeral Home, Chisholm at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Deacon Richard Johnston will officiate.
