Iris Marie Perricone

Iris Marie Perricone, 90, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead, MD. Born on March 2, 1935, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward Meckel and Arlein Adelong Meckel. She was the beloved wife of Donald Charles Perricone, Sr., who passed away in 2008.

Iris retired after 40 years as a registered nurse at Northwest Hospital. After retirement, she continued to volunteer at Carroll Hospital Center. She enjoyed crosswords and traveling, especially with her friend, Barb.

Surviving her are sons: Benjamin Perricone and wife Marlene, Donald Perricone, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Alexander Perricone and wife Kathleen, daughter-in-law: Rosa Perricone, grandchildren: Justin Kemp, Jared, Mason, Erica, V.J., Emily, and Abigail Perricone, and great-grandchildren: Madison Kemp, Coraline Kemp, Josie Perricone, Trey Donald Perricone, and Claire Perricone. She is also survived by her sister: Karen Meckel.

Iris was predeceased by her son: Victor Perricone, and brothers: Philip Meckel and Roman “Bud” Meckel.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 18, from 7-9 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, at 11 am, with Father Collin Poston

Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to St. Jude’s’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105
