Iris Rojas Obituary
Iris was resilient. She sacrificed everything for her children and created a way for the 4 generations that proceed her.
Iris was a Puerto Rican single mom of 4, and a Patersonian through-and-through. She started as a factory worker around the age of 22 and fought against incredible adversity, ultimately succeeding as the Director at a nursery. Iris fought poverty, uncertainty and mental health illness every day to provide for her children.
From her heartbroken children, Marisol, Roxanne, Raul and Rachel, her many Nieces, Nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and the friends and family that loved and adored her: We are grateful for all the beautiful memories we have.
