Iris was so kind. She was my mom´s best friend so I knew her for years. She´d always come over to say hello when I came home to visit after moving away. I´ll miss your warm and generous spirit Iris! You were a beautiful person, aptly named for the most beautiful flower.
Sincerely
Melissa (Brooks) Kraemer
(daughter of Iris´s bestie Charlotte)

Best of friend of my mother Charlotte for many years, I remember meeting Iris when I was young. I thought it was surreal that my mom had a cool and hip friend! Iris was a wonderful Auntie to my kids and always wanted to see them when we came to town. She told great stories and was kind, loving and full of compassion. She was my mom´s "little sister" (Sorority at OSU) and their friendship showed me how important and wonderful it is to have women friends to walk through life with because, as Iris said, "Life is weird." May her memory be for a blessing.
