Irma Sue Easterly

Irma Sue Reily Easterly, 92, "Susie Q", a resident of Gurley, LA, died on Thursday, December 4, 2025. She was called many names, Mama, Grandma, Aunt, Great-Grandma. There will be a visitation on Monday, December 8, 2025 at the Wilson Community Church in Wilson, LA, from 10:00am until funeral services at 12:00 noon, conducted by Brother Joe Ratcliff. Burial will be in the East Family Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Jo Easterly of Baker; daughter-in-law Veronica D. Easterly of Gurley; and adopted daughter Charlotte Hall of Baker; one brother, Ben Day Reily of Madison, AL; two grandchildren: Rusty Rexroad (Sandra) and Beth Rexroad Martin (Joe); and five great-grandchildren: Jordan Rexroad, Tristen Martin, Seth Martin, Kamron Brunson, and Aurora Martin, and great-great-grandchild Scarlett Martin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Easterly Sr., son Levy Scott Easterly; son Melvin Marks Easterly Jr., brother T.S. Reily, sister Mary Libby Blouin, and great-grandson, Jason Rexroad. Pallbearers will be Donald Ray Dunn, D.K. Easterly, Rusty Rexroad, Tristen Martin, Seth Martin, Kamron Brunson, Mason Hall. She was a member of the D.A.R. and enjoyed her quilting club. We would like to thank all the workers and OLOL Hospital and Baton Rouge Health Care Center. And to the special friends who took care of Ms Kitty. And special thanks to all of her close friends that played spinners and Coffee Time friends.
