Irwin Crespi

Irwin Crespi, age 82, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2025, at Merrill Gardens in Glen Mills, PA. Irwin was born in Manhattan, NY to the late Morris Crespi and Anna Prince Crespi and resided most of his childhood in Brooklyn, NY. Irwin spent the last 10 years residing with his daughter and son in law, Keri and Glenn, in Glen Mills, PA. He previously lived his entire married life in Bayside, Queens where he raised his beautiful daughters.
Irwin worked as a Custodial Engineer for the New York Board of Education for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards, gambling, trying his luck with the lottery and scratch-offs and watching PGA golf and professional tennis. Irwin was a frequent flyer to the local Wawa and CVS in Glen Mills and all the employees there adored him. He was also known for his passion to watch game shows and was a loyal New York Mets fan. Irwin also took pride in his Pocono Mountain home in Arrowhead Lakes, where he enjoyed spending his summers puttering around and "fixing" things. Above all, Irwin cherished time spent with his family, especially all four of his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Irwin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Vicki Yellen Crespi. He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Boeri (Ronald) and Keri Matra (Glenn); his sister, Estelle Crespi Sher (Sheldon); and his grandchildren, Paul and Sydney Matra, and Jacqueline and Adrianna Boeri.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com.
