Isaac Mitchell "Mickey" Craft

Funeral services for Isaac "Mickey" Mitchell Craft, 82 of Ferriday, LA will be held at Ridgecrest Baptist Church on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 1PM with Bro. Robbie Roberts and Bro. Larry Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from 11AM until service time at 1PM.

Mickey was born on Saturday, July 10, 1943 in Natchez, MS and passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 in Ferriday, LA. He was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and a man who lived his life with quiet strength and steady devotion. Mickey proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, carrying that same sense of duty and commitment into every chapter of his life. For many years, he worked at Armstrong and Fidelity Tire, providing faithfully for those he loved. Mickey found simple joy in tending a small garden, keeping his yard just right, and settling in to watch his favorite westerns. But more than anything, his true passion was his family. Loving them, caring for them, and standing beside them was his greatest calling. He leaves behind a legacy of service, humility, and unwavering love.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Rosie Craft, sister, Doris Grantham, and his son, Clayton Craft.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 62 wonderful years, Edna McKee Craft of Ferriday, LA, two daughters, Michelle Edwards (Steve) of Ferriday, LA and Tisha Sontoyo (Joseph) of Vidalia, LA; grandchildren, Dylan Sontoyo of Vidalia, LA, Tori Bullock (Blake) of Greenwell Springs, LA, Brye Edwards of Ferriday, LA, Mason Sontoyo (Melanie) of Raceland, LA and Christian Sontoyo of Raceland, LA; great-grandchildren, Virginia "Ginny" May Bullock of Greenwell Springs, LA, Parker and Tanner Sontoyo, each of Raceland, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Those honoring Mickey as pallbearers will be Blake Bullock, Mike Grantham, Kenny Grantham, Todd Ainsworth, Denious Jacobson, and Jason Grantham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Jacobson, David Ainsworth, Scooter Ruddell and Calvin Creel.
