Isabel Arguello

Isabel "Cuca" (Ledesma) Arguello July 4, 1943 - May 20, 2024
Born in Worland, Wyoming to Florentino and Andrea Ledesma. Went to Worland High School where she met and later married her husband of 63 years, Oney Arguello, on January 8, 1961. She worked as a waitress for a while raising their three daughters, Gale, Monica, and Andrea in Worland until 1968 when they moved to Pocatello, Idaho. Isabel worked at Grand Central and Kmart for several decades. Oney and Isabel loved having evenings out with friends and enjoying a night filled with dancing. Isabel loved playing softball with co-workers and later coached her daughter's co-ed team, creating fun filled times during the summer at the ball fields.
Isabel (and Oney) then moved to Juneau, Alaska in 2000 and lived there until 2016. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Isabel loved receiving pictures from her growing family; there were no empty spaces on walls as they were full of family pictures. She loved gathering with family to help create those memories. Isabel was an avid romance novel reader and loved going on walks, even on a rainy Juneau day. She enjoyed getting jewelry from her husband Oney for anniversary and holiday gifts. You often would see her showing off her newest jewelry item to family and friends.
Due to her numerous medical challenges they had to move back to Idaho (Boise) where Isabel could obtain the best medical care available.
Mom's truest love of life was Oney and being around the family they raised and watched grow throughout her years of life.

Her loving and faithful husband of 63 years, Oney Arguello, residing in Boise, ID.
Devoted daughters and their spouses, Gale Hardison (Jim) residing in Pocatello, ID, Monica Wellard (Scott) residing in Juneau, AK, and Andrea Stein (Eric) residing in Boise, ID.
Loving Grandchildren and their families: Payden and Shelby Wellard (Caitlinne and Evelyn), Kelsi and Cody Gibbons (Gavin, Grayson, and Briggs), Kylie and Andrew Mortenson (Emersyn), Jessica and Richard Keyes, Dalton and Crystal Wellard (Emma and Beckham), and Tyler Stein.
Siblings: Joe Sanchez, Ameila (Ledesma) Lain, Irene (Ledesma) Skretteberg, and Raymond Ledesma.
