Isabel J. Langer, 77, of Woodstock, Connecticut, a registered nurse at Day Kimball Hospital from 1950-83, died at Day Kimball Hospital on Monday, August 19, 2002, following a brief illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2002, 9-10:45 a.m., at Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church Street, Putnam. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Most Holy Trinity Church, Routes 169 and 44, Pomfret, Connecticut. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Webster, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Woodstock Volunteer Fire Deparment, Woodstock, CT 06281. Arrangements entrusted to Gilman Funeral Home, Putnam, Connecticut.
