Isabel Collazo Perez

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved Isabel Collazo Perez, born on November 1, 1947, in Toa Alta, Galateo, Puerto Rico. Isabel, a compassionate, loving, and courageous woman, was called home on March 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith and love in Riverview, Florida. A dedicated servant of the Lord, Isabel committed her life to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone she encountered. As the scripture says, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16), and Isabel made it her life's mission to let her light shine brightly.

Isabel was a homemaker by profession, and former Pastor, but her true calling was her family and her faith. She found great joy in caring for her home and her loved ones, and her heart held an infinite amount of love for her daughters, who meant the world to her. Isabel was a testament to the power of a mother's love, and her legacy lives on in her daughters Brenda, Isabel, and Anita. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, her love extended to her grandchildren Mykell, Nathan, Misael, Caleb, Angel, Sinai, and Betty, and to her great-grandchildren Téa Isabel, Makaia, Olivia, and Luis (Fer). Each of them carry a piece of Isabel's spirit within them - her kindness, her strength, and most importantly, her unwavering faith.

Predeceased by her parents, Candelario Collazo and Vincenta Collazo Jimenez, Isabel now rests in the loving arms of the Lord. Her life was a testament to the power of faith and love, and she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide her family. As we mourn the loss of Isabel, we celebrate the life of a woman who was a beacon of light in the lives of those she loved. Her strength, courage, and unwavering faith will forever be remembered and cherished.

There will be a service for Isabel on Saturday March 7th, 2026 with visiting time from 4-4:30PM and the service to begin at 4:30PM. The service will take place at Palabra Refrescante Church of God 7209 N Manhattan Ave Tampa, FL 33614.
