To the Pope Family: My family and I can say that we know what you are going through. We are sorry that we must lose our mothers. Both of our moms really had such fun in life and loved life to the fullest. This is something for us to live up to. Ann, Mother enjoyed seeing you at Floy's birthday party. Norton, I thank you for being my daughter's doctor once. Madison, you were such a cute little boy that your mom and dad were so proud of. Frazier, I know that your parents were proud of you, too, although I didn't get to know you-age differences do crazy things. Let's keep our chins up and remember the good things and how our parents are now!

Norton and other children, I know the pain and sadness of losing a mother. But you can be thankful that you had her so long. She was a very special and devoted friend to my mother. They shared a lot of good times together. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of saying "good-bye" to one you loved for so long.

Mrs. Pope was such a shinning soul. She always took time with the "kids" that came in to "shop" at Belk-Jones. Reminded us of our manners, treated us with respect and always took care of us. Our deepest condolonces to your family in this time of loss. Sincerely, The Usreys: Martha Ellen, James Cooper and Frances Usrey Raley.

Norton ...
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of grief. When one's mother goes to be with the Lord, it is very difficult because of the many bonds we have with our mothers. However, we both know she is now with Him, and has found happiness we cannot even begin to imagine.
I did send an e-mail to all our classmates with e-mail addresses to make them aware of your loss.
Just know I care, and you are in the prayers of many who love you.
