Isabel H. Rascon, 86, of Marana died on Aug. 22, 2024.
Mrs. Rascon was born on Oct. 16, 1937, in El Paso, Texas. She lived in Marana for 40 years and loved to sew, play games including dominoes, sing, listen to music and draw.
She enjoyed going to movies and loved to go out to eat with her children. She enjoyed seeing her grandchildren. Having strong faith, she loved going to Mass.
Survivors include 10 daughters and sons, Ida L. Rascon and Diana M. Cossette of Tucson, David M. Rascon Jr. of Casa Grande, Martin Rascon Sr. of Tucson, Susie Chadwick of Tucson, Jose Rascon of Tucson, Daniel Rascon of Marana, Victoria Silvain of Boston, Gabriel Rascon and Veronica Moreno of Tucson; two siblings, Carme Tellez and Fidencio Hernandez of Casa Grande; 28 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband David M. Rascon Sr., sons Alfredo Jose Rascon and Martin Rascon Sr and siblings Anita Castillo, Manuel, Ricardo and Domingo Hernandez Jr.
Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. and rosary recited at 9 on Saturday, Aug. 31, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande. Funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30.
