HOLT, Isabelle T. (Swanson)- Of Chelsea, March 10th. Devoted wife of the late Richard Holt. Beloved mother of Beverly Dunnell of Medford and her companion Samuel Ferrera of East Boston. Dear sister of Howard Swanson of Chelsea. Cherished grandmother of Denise Mauro and her husband Domenic and great grand mother of Nicholas Mauro all of Medford. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday, March 14th at 10 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A saleslady for Lacey & Ladinsky for over 20 years, Isabelle passed away late Tuesday afternoon at the Whidden Hospital in Everett at the age of 86.

I knew Isabelle years ago when I worked in Ladinsky's on Chelsea St in East Boston, I was a teenager but she left a lasting impression on me, she treated me like a daughter and looked out for me, she always had a good word to say about everything even when the customers would drive us crazy.
I am happy to have known her.
