Isabelle Wolfe was born on June 6, 1957, in Columbia, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of the late Ben Mack, Sr. and Martha Louise W. Mack. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland Heart Center, surrounded by her family.
"Bella" as she was affectionately called, attended the public schools of Richland County graduating in the Class of 1975 from A. C. Flora High School. She was employed with Midland Center as Dietary Supervisor for a number of years.
At an early age she attended Rehoboth United Church under the leadership of the late Bishop C. L. Lorick Sr. She later attended Mustard Seed Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Henry Wolfe.
Bella loved cooking her special dishes, was always full of laughter and joy, and enjoyed sewing. With a heart of gold, she cherished her family and friends deeply. One of her favorite pastimes was picking pecans, and she knew exactly where to find the trees. She would pick, shell, and crack them all on her own. She will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, Isabelle was preceded in death brothers, Waston Wolfe and Bennie Wolfe; and sisters, Benzenia Mack, and Vera Mack; aunts, Lottie Mae Nelson, Carolyn Berry, Rose Thomas, Sylvia Jones and Joanna Ashford; and uncle, Eddie Mender.
Those left to cherish fond and precious memories of "Bella" are three daughters, LaTonya Wolfe (Troy) Henry, Ebony Wolfe and Shaedarly Wolfe, all of Columbia, SC; brothers, Pastor Henry Wolfe and Calvin Mack, both of Columbia, SC; sisters, Gloria J. Pelzer, Doris Mack, and Rev. Rosetta Mack, all of Columbia, SC; uncles, Minister Heyward (Betty) Mack, Sr., Johnell (Viola) Mender, Elder Melvin (Carolyn) Wolfe, and Alphonso (Louise) Wolfe; aunt, Fredine McNeal; eight grandchildren, Tamirra, Troy, Jessie, Trey, Anyla, Elona, Jaiden and Lola; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure, but rejoice that she is with the Lord.
