In Loving Memory of Isaiah Scott
With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we honor the life of our brother Isaiah Scott, who passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. He was a man of unique courage, and unwavering generosity-someone who never hesitated to share his thoughts.
Known for his infectious humor and larger-than-life personality, he had a special way of making people feel loved. To the women in his life-especially his nieces-he affectionately called them “Baby Doll,” a name that carried warmth, admiration, and a touch of his personal signature. His charm, words, voice, and presence made every moment brighter no matter what he faced daily.
Beyond his natural comedy moments, he also was a man of action and heart. His bravery was unmatched when he ran into a burning building to save a life in Albany, a true testament to his fearless nature and deep sense of duty. That act alone speaks volumes about the kind of man he was-selfless, courageous, and full of love for humanity.
Although he faced times without a permanent residence, every place he visited was his home. He transformed those spaces into sanctuaries, touching the hearts of one person at a time. His presence was a gift, turning strangers into friends and moments into memories.
A natural born athlete, a tall force of nature with tons of energy, pushing past life adversities. Without-a-doubt his spirit was unbreakable because he thrived until the day God closed his eyes.
He is survived by his siblings, Mary Simmons, Rosetta Scott-Foster, Patricia Scott-Allen, Elizabeth Campbell, Jackie Scott, Sammy Scott, James Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A service to honor his life will be held on at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205 at 12pm on Wednesday, June 18th. A calling hour at the funeral home will be held prior to the service from 11am-12pm where friends and family will gather to celebrate him.
