Ishvarbhai Lallubhai Patel, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 83. He was born on October 22, 1942, to Vasanbhai and Maniben Patel in Khaparia, Gujarat, India. He grew up with two elder sisters and five brothers and completed his schooling at Kharel High School.
At 17, Ishvarbhai moved to Colón, Panama, joining his two older brothers and helping build the strong, united Santoshi Family of 23 under one roof. His deep commitment to family later brought him to Corpus Christi, where he helped raise his grandchildren. He permanently settled in Corpus Christi in February 2020.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Bhartiben; his brother Dhanubhai and wife Indira; sister-in-laws Niruben and Laxmiben; his daughter Setal and son-in-law Nilesh; and grandchildren Nayan and Sahil. And may he be reunited with his late son Manish.
Though he had two biological children and grandchildren, Ishvarbhai was lovingly known as an uncle-dad to Hemubhai and Bhanuben, and to Nutanben and Kiritbhai-his strongest support system. He cherished all his nieces and nephews: Vinod, Hiren, Kumi, Surbhi, Nita, Tanuja, Roshni, Reshma, Tejal, Hetal, Ronak, and late Vishal.
Family, friends, and the community knew Ishvarbhai as a friendly, curious soul who loved meeting people everywhere he went-always ready for a serious conversation or a good debate.
As we bid farewell, we are reminded of life's impermanence and the footprints he leaves behind. His was a life lived with purpose and joy, touching countless hearts.
As the sun sets on this chapter, we honor Ishvarbhai Lallubhai Patel-a blessing to all who knew him. May his soul find eternal peace.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
